Day 22 was declared a down day. The only real target was several hundred miles away and it would have been difficult to get there in time. There was a need to fix some mechanical issues with some of the vehicles as well. We needed to be located in the North Platte area to be in position for tomorrow`s target. This gave the teams time to do some sightseeing, laundry and catch up on much needed sleep.
